Partner The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc.

The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc. has been a passionate supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2003. St. Jude is part of the cultural DNA at The Melting Pot, from corporate executives and franchise owners to general managers and restaurant servers. With cumulative giving of $6.5 million, the Melting Pot’s commitment to St. Jude has made them a true partner in the mission to find cures and save children with cancer and other deadly diseases.

In 2010, The Melting Pot invited its loyal diners to “Give a little, get a lot!” by purchasing Fondue for the Kids cards. Each $10 card was good for $20 off a future visit and, as always, 100 percent of the purchase price benefited St. Jude.

In 2011, The Melting Pot changed its St. Jude Thanks and Giving® program to a customer add-on. Each guest was asked to donate to St. Jude and offered a $5 bounceback coupon regardless of whether or not they chose to donate.

The Melting Pot’s generosity toward St. Jude extends beyond the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign to include the year-round Fondue a Cure for Childhood Cancer chocolate bar program, as well as many special events at individual restaurant locations. The Melting Pot hosted the inaugural Melting Pot Golf Classic in 2010, offering golfers a first-class experience and valuable exposure to the work of St. Jude.

The Melting Pot is truly a member of the St. Jude family, as demonstrated by the popularity of its annual fondue party at Target House. Patients and their families look forward to The Melting Pot’s famous chocolate fondue and enjoy a “perfect night out” hosted by executives and restaurant associates. Great food, fun entertainment and charming hosts make this event highly anticipated by families residing at Target House. The Melting Pot has a commitment to excellence and hospitality that will benefit children suffering from catastrophic diseases for years to come.

St. Jude is grateful for The Melting Pot’s sincere desire to help fulfill Danny Thomas’s dream that “no child should die in the dawn of life.”
