NFL

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league composed of 32 teams divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). It is considered the highest level of professional football in the world.

The NFL partnered with St. Jude in 2012 through its NFL PLAY 60 program with the shared goal to give “give all kids a chance to PLAY 60.” The partnership has generated funds and awareness in several ways, including as a $100,000 donation through the NFL PLAY 60 “Fit and Funny Files” weekly videos as well as a St. Jude patient announcing a first round pick at the 2013 NFL Draft.

NFL PLAY 60 has committed to be “The Official Champion of Play” at St. Jude and has set a fundraising goal to support the hospital’s Child Life program which helps patients and families cope with serious illnesses through play therapy and peer interaction, to name a few.

Super Bowl Champion, NFL on FOX analyst and “Live with Kelly and Michael” host Michael Strahan is a national spokesperson for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving and St. Jude Game Day. Give Back. campaigns.
