Lancôme began its partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2010 through the Genes Day campaign. On that day, $7 from the sale of all sizes of Génefique concentrate sold through retailers nationwide and online at Lancome.com was donated to St. Jude. In its inaugural year, Lancôme raised more than $150,000. October 21, 2011, will mark the second annual Genes Day and Lancôme is poised to double its 2010 donation.
Lancôme respects the commitment of St. Jude to research and technology, and in its short tenure with the hospital, Lancôme has made partnering with St. Jude a priority. This past April, 11 Lancôme make-up artists helped St. Jude patients prepare for the St. Jude Teen Formal that is held annually for the hospital’s teen patients.
