Join country group Lonestar in 'striking out' cancer

The award-winning country music group Lonestar will host "Lonestar & Friends Strike Out for the Kids," a bowling party to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. The second annual event will be held at Hermitage Lanes in Nashville on Monday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

At the party, country music artists will host bowling lanes, and fans attending the event can enter a drawing for a chance to bowl with an artist. Four fans' names will be drawn to bowl a game with each artist. The drawing for bowling slots will take place prior to the event, and those names will be announced at the party.

In the lobby of the bowling center, a silent auction will be held throughout the evening featuring items from some of country music's biggest stars. Each attending celebrity will also receive a custom-made bowling shirt, which he or she will autograph, to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Fans can take part in the party by purchasing a $25 ticket. The price includes:

A portion of the proceeds from “Lonestar & Friends Strike Out for the Kids” will benefit St. Jude, the world’s premier pediatric cancer research center.
