With passion for the mission of St. Jude, Domino’s has raised more than $16.1 million in eight years as a corporate partner.
Domino’s Pizza became a member of the St. Jude family in 2004, raising $370,000 through its participation in the inaugural St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign. After an internal vote in 2006, Domino’s made St. Jude its permanent national charity partner of choice. In 2007, the company integrated the add-on donation into its online ordering system, improving the process each year, with more than $750,000 donated online in 2011. In addition, Domino’s raised more than $64,000 via mobile ordering and another $7,000 via a text-to-donate option promoted on box toppers and its pizza tracker Web page.
Domino’s enjoyed a record year in 2012, raising an amazing $3.6 million, the highest they have raised yet. The company provided discounted gift cards to all new patient families at Memphis Grizzlies House and free and discounted pizzas for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend. Domino’s franchise community actively supported regional St. Jude fundraising events such as the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway and Up ‘til Dawn® with in-kind donations.
To increase internal awareness, Domino’s included St. Jude in its semiannual World Wide Rally in Las Vegas in the summer of 2012. As a further demonstration of Domino’s commitment, Domino’s Chief Marketing Officer Russell Weiner served on St. Jude's Professional Advisory Board and Vice President of Multimedia Marketing Dennis Maloney served on St. Jude’s Digital Advisory Committee in 2012. Domino’s continued to support the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign with an add-on program via phone, online, mobile or walk-up ordering, with an additional text-to-donate program as well.
Domino’s committed to raise $10 million for St. Jude over the next three years, taking its partnership to a whole new level.
