Guy Cottrell, chief postal inspector of the United States Postal Service, unveiled the new Danny Thomas Forever Stamp February 16 along with Dr. William E. Evans, St. Jude director and CEO; Richard C. Shadyac Jr., CEO of ALSAC/St. Jude; and the ALSAC/St. Jude Boards of Directors and Governors.

U.S. Postal Service dignitaries and honored guests watched as the commemorative stamp was unveiled in the hospital’s auditorium. Tony Thomas, son of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas, attended the event and spoke about his father’s commitment to the hospital.

The stamp is now being sold in more than 30,000 post offices across the nation.
