Patients use art to share their favorite things during All of Me Week

The Child Life Program at St. Jude presented All of Me Week earlier this month for patients and siblings. Participants engaged in expressive activities to share some of their favorite things.

Monday’s theme was “my favorite face,” which featured a photography session in which patients chose a design, animal or other creation to have painted on their faces before smiling for the camera. Wednesday’s theme was “my favorite place,” an art session for patients to decorate a canvas with some reminders of their favorite locales. “My favorite memory” was the theme of Thursday’s story-telling session for patients and siblings.

The week’s events culminated in the “All of Me” art reception on Friday as families enjoyed snacks and fruit punch while walking through a decorative gallery of the week’s creations.
