Jim Brickman's Christmas album

Pianist Jim Brickman donates album proceeds to St. Jude

Pianist Jim Brickman has joined forces with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help find a cure for pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases.

Brickman, whose distinctive piano virtuosity has personified pure romance for audiences of all ages, is donating 10 percent of the proceeds from his Christmas album Christmas from the Heart to St. Jude.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the St. Jude family and have the opportunity to produce this CD to benefit this wonderful organization," Brickman said. "Music is such a part of the healing process and hopefully this CD will bring some joy to the children and families of St. Jude."

The CD features Christmas classics and original holiday songs performed with a number of other artists including Rebecca Lynn Howard, Kristy Starling, Jeff Timmons, Anne Cochran, Tracy Silverman, The Blenders, Bobbie Eakes (of ABC's All My Children), and Mary Beth Carlson.

The CD cover features the St. Jude logo on the cover and can be purchased through Brickman’s Web site www.jimbrickman.com and at stops on his holiday concert tour.

In addition, a new single featuring Brickman and Olivia Newton-John will be released in February just in time for Valentine’s Day called "Dream." Proceeds from the sale of the single will also benefit St. Jude.
