Since 2004, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has benefited from the dedicated support of Regal Entertainment Group as a corporate partner. As a proven leader in the exhibition industry with the largest theatre circuit in the United States, Regal’s participation in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign movie trailer program has delivered the St. Jude message of hope to movie patrons across the United States. Awareness is critical to fundraising success, and Regal has been an integral part in helping St. Jude surpass campaign awareness goals for eight years.

Regal’s partnership in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving movie trailer program from 2004 through 2011 has been instrumental in helping us attain more than 828 million impressions. During the campaign, Regal shares the St. Jude message of hope with movie patrons in 37 states and the District of Columbia by generously donating time to run a 30-second trailer during the pre-show.

In addition, Regal’s 2009 decision to include St. Jude as a recipient of funds from The Regal Foundation has resulted in a total of more than $1 million in donations. St. Jude is grateful to be included as a beneficiary of Regal’s philanthropic endeavors.

In 2010, Regal partnered with St. Jude to establish the Foundation gift as a matching gift underwriting opportunity. As a result, St. Jude received an additional $487,872 in donations.

Again in 2011, Regal provided both the awareness media and generous Foundation donation matching gift. In partnership with National Direct Marketing, the 2011 matching gift underwriting opportunity generated an incremental $392,473 in revenue for the organization. The company also began playing the St. Jude 30-second trailer message in their lobbies as well.
