National Basketball Association players, teams and fans celebrated Hoops for St. Jude Week March 26 – 30. Each year, the NBA dedicates a week to the hospital, encouraging fans and players to get involved in helping save the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

A number of players stopped by the hospital and even more joined the cause as ambassadors of the Hoops for St. Jude program. Players such as Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Love, Pau Gasol, Rudy Gay, and David Lee, as well as Coach George Karl encourage their fans to be a part of the St. Jude mission.
