St. Jude Postdoctoral Association

Establishment and Purpose

The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Postdoctoral Association was formed in 1998 to maximize the postdoctoral experience. We support enhanced professional growth through inspiring educational programs and seminars, research training and facilitate communications between the postdoctoral community and the administration of St. Jude.

Postdoctoral Association Mission

To provide platforms for collaborations and dialogue between the faculty and administration of St. Jude and the postdoctoral leadership council for the issues of direct relevance or interest for all basic science and clinical postdoctoral fellows at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Membership

All persons presently involved in postdoctoral research, both basic science and clinical, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital shall be considered active members of the Postdoctoral Association. Membership starts upon official appointment as a postdoctoral or clinical fellow and continues until termination or reclassification of the person’s position. There are no fees associated with this membership. Any member of the Postdoctoral Association is welcome to join the Leadership Council.
