Each year the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program accepts up to three new fellows. Applications will be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for positions. Applications are currently being accepted for a fellowship position to begin July 1, 2015 at the first year level (PGY-4).
In order to be considered for an interview, you must submit the following before the deadline:
Applicants must have a MD or local equivalent and 3 years of postdoctoral training in pediatrics. Preference is given to candidates with interests in careers in clinical, translational or basic science research and the potential to become successful academic subspecialists. We have no citizenship requirements; however, international medical graduates must have passed USMLE Step 2-CS in order to obtain a visa to work in the United States.
Strong candidates are offered an interview, which typically lasts an entire Friday and provides an opportunity to meet the faculty and current fellows and to tour the facilities. The costs of the interview, including airfare, lodging, and most meals, are provided.
*Letters of recommendation should be submitted directly to the program from the author via mail or email.
ACGME Fellowship Program Eligibility requirements will change effective July 1, 2016. Read the updated requirements.
