The Application Process

Each year the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program accepts up to three new fellows. We will be accepting applications through ERAS for positions beginning in July 2014. Preference is given to candidates with interests in careers in clinical, translational or basic science research and the potential to become successful academic subspecialists. We have no citizenship requirements; however, international medical graduates must have passed USMLE Step 2-CS in order to obtain a visa to work in the United States.

Strong candidates are offered an interview, which typically lasts an entire Friday and provides you with opportunity to meet the faculty and current fellows and to tour the facilities. The costs of the interview, including airfare, lodging, and meals, is provided.

For further information about the training program, please email the Program Director, Dr. Adderson, or the Program Coordinator, Jamie Tidwell.
