Tri Delta 'sincere' about fund raising
This spring, Delta Delta Delta Fraternity and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will launch the Sincerely Yours® letter-writing campaign as part of the group's endeavor to help eliminate childhood cancer.
Sincerely Yours® challenges each chapter member to send 50 letters to family, friends and neighbors encouraging them to make a contribution to St. Jude. St. Jude will provide the letters, envelopes and postage. Chapter members just provide the addresses. The campaign will begin in January and conclude during Tri Delta/St. Jude month in March.
Tri Delta has pledged to endow $1 million for the hospital's Teen Room, which is an oasis for teen patients. This is a place for patients 13 -19 years of age to connect with other teens without the distractions of doctors, parents and younger children.
