Build-A-Bear Workshop became a St. Jude corporate partner in 2011by introducing their new “Cause for Celebration” party program. At a "Cause for Celebration Party," guests can celebrate their special occasions by enjoying all the bear-making fun and make a $10 celebration donation to St. Jude. Build-A-Bear Workshop will match the donation up to the first 1,000 parties booked.
The "Cause for Celebration" Guest of Honor receives a special St. Jude Tiny Tees® shirt for their new friend and all party guests will have the opportunity to sign cards for St. Jude patients, receive a commemorative sticker and a virtualcode to receive a special St. Jude virtual gift at www.bearville.com. Attendees are also given the opportunity to make celebration donations to St. Jude in lieu of gifts.
For every “Cause for Celebration” party booked, Build-A-Bear Workshop will also give a St. Jude patient a celebration gift package that includes the personalized card from the store party attendees and a $10 gift card.
Build-A-Bear completed their first year of partnership with St. Jude by raising more than $350,000.
