Retinoblastoma Treatment and Research

Spotlight on Retinoblastoma

Retinoblastoma is a cancer of the eye that represents 3 percent of childhood cancers. In the United States, only 250-300 children per year are found to have this malignant tumor of the retina.

"Retinoblastoma is probably the pediatric cancer in which an early diagnosis has the greatest impact. When it is diagnosed early, cure is certain. However, when diagnosed late, it is one of the deadliest cancers."
