Research
St. Jude offers help with the cost of meals for the participant and one (1) parent by issuing a St. Jude Meal Card. You first pick up meal cards in the Patient Services office when you arrive. (A research team member will escort you to Patient Services at your first visit.)
Meal cards are activated for the number of days and meals for which the participant is eligible. The meal card is programmed for specific dollar amounts and time periods. These amounts and times depend on the participant’s schedule. You can use the meal card at the hospital cafeteria. However, St. Jude meal cards cannot be used off campus.
Snack Bags
Snack bags are offered free for participants while at St. Jude. You pick up snack bag tickets in the Patient Services office when you arrive (at the same time you are getting your meal card). Then pick up the snack bags in the cafeteria. Each snack bag contains three snack items and a drink.
