At St. Jude, graduation is a special occasion regardless of age. From the youngest graduates preparing to embark upon their journeys in education to those graduates entering young adulthood, both milestones were celebrated during the St. Jude Kindergarten Graduation and High School Graduation ceremonies.

Caps, gowns and diplomas marked the annual kindergarten graduation, which took place May 26 in the St. Jude Auditorium. Twenty young scholars were honored.

“To be a part of celebrating this milestone with our kindergarten patients is an honor, and it brings some normalcy to their lives,” said Laurie Leigh, School Program director. “The special ceremony makes it possible for young patients to experience graduation like they would have in their hometowns.”

Best wishes were extended to six graduating seniors during the annual high school graduation, which took place June 7 in the Danny Thomas/ALSAC Pavilion. During the ceremony, various members of the St. Jude staff offered words of encouragement to the high school graduates in a video message.
