Age: 2 years old
Diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
When Victor was a year old, he started having chronic ear infections. After several trips to his local doctor, the little boy wasn’t feeling any better. Victor’s doctor ordered blood work, which revealed devastating news: Victor was suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common form of childhood cancer. Victor’s doctor referred him to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where Victor started a two-and-a-half year treatment protocol. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and responding well to treatment. Victor likes to listen to music and dance, and his favorite food is pizza.
