Target has a new way for you to help the patients of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their fight to overcome life-threatening illnesses.

Through Take Charge of Education ®, a school fundraising initiative, families and community members have an easy way to designate the St. Jude school program and have Target donate an amount equal to one percent of their REDcardSM (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit CardSM and Target Check CardSM) purchases made at Target and Target.com. In addition, Target donates ½ percent of all their Target Visa Credit Card purchases made everywhere else Visa credit cards are accepted.

Take Charge of Education embraces Target’s commitment to education and is designed to enhance educational efforts for children, including St. Jude patients, in communities across the country.

Money raised for St. Jude through the program will go to support the hospital’s school program, where patients are able to continue their studies while away from the classroom.

For children undergoing treatment of life-threatening illnesses, school can provide a sense of normal routine as well as a connection with the outside world.

St. Jude provides patients with two classrooms and full-time teachers licensed by the State of Tennessee to teach K-12 so that patients can keep up with their school work and not fall behind.

REDcard holders can enroll in the program by simply visiting Target.com/tcoe and clicking “enroll.” In the fields, enter:

ST JUDE SCHOOL
MEMPHIS, TN 38105

or enter the St. Jude ID: 126789.

Cardholders also can call 1-800-316-6142 to enroll in Take Charge of Education and support the St. Jude School program.
