A donation at this level would help cover more than a third of the cost of providing radiotherapy treatment for a brain tumor patient: St. Jude was the first to adapt a computer-based three-dimensional radiation therapy technique for pediatric brain tumor treatment to minimize damage to healthy tissue and preserve cognitive development in children.


Dream Sponsor (kickoff event opportunity)~ $20,000

A donation at this level can help pay a portion of the salary of a Child Life Specialist: Child Life Specialists reduce the anxiety that many kids feel when they become patients at St. Jude. These nurturing professionals help St. Jude kids lead as normal a life as possible by playing learning games with the children and providing them with structured family and peer interaction.

Hope Sponsor ~ $15,000 (3 opportunities)

A donation at this level would help run the St. Jude Blood Donor Center for one week: The Blood Donor Center, located on the first floor of the Patient Care Center, is responsible for collecting and providing the hospital with platelets and other blood products necessary for our patient’s care.


Miracle Partner ~ $10,000 (3 opportunities)

A donation at this level would help provide one CT scan for a St. Jude patient: St. Jude doctors use CT scans to provide parents with much-needed answers about their child’s health. The CT scan combines computer and X-ray technology to take detailed pictures of areasinside the child’s body and is used throughout the treatment protocol to provide updates on progress.


Promise Sponsor ~ $5,000 (3 opportunities)

A donation at this level would help cover the cost of the daily room rate of the ICU: The Intensive Care Unit at St. Jude was recognized for the second consecutive year in 2010 with the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence given by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. In 2009, the St. Jude ICU became Tennessee’s first ICU to win the honor.


Angel Sponsor ~ $2,500

A donation at this level would help provide five hours of physical therapy: Physical therapy is provided to patients because children with catastrophic diseases like cancer may develop developmental, cognitive or physical impairments as a result of their illnesses and their treatments.


Star Sponsor ~ $1,000

A donation at this level would help cover about two-thirds of the cost of one day of chemotherapy: St. Jude has developed protocols that have helped push overall survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent when the hospital opened in 1962 to more than 80 percent today.
