The St. Jude campus celebrated the holiday season in a variety of ways throughout the month of December. Patients and families were treated to a holiday party at the Memphis Grizzlies House as they enjoyed dinner, holiday treats, activities and a visit from Santa Claus.
The St. Jude Women’s Club sponsored their annual Elf Event as patients enjoyed the opportunity to get their faces painted and don antlers for photos with elves.
St. Jude employees got into the holiday spirit through several events, including an ornament-decorating contest and the annual St. Jude Holiday Celebration.
In addition, Joe Farris, known as “The Real Santa Claus,” threw a holiday party for families and patients. Farris has been visiting the hospital as Santa Claus since 1962.
