What a difference a decade makes

It all started 10 years ago when a few students at The University of Memphis decided it was time for their campus to come up with a way for all students to come together to support a great cause. The cause was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the idea was Up ‘til Dawn.

Now, 10 years later, Up ‘til Dawn is a favorite campus tradition at The University of Memphis and a point-of-pride for its students.  To date, U of M students have raised more than $800,000.  Libba Walker, Executive Director of Up ‘til Dawn at Memphis, said, “It’s exciting to see everyone on our campus continue to be excited about supporting such a worthy cause. We know that the work we do will impact the lives of children around the world. The best part is knowing that we are part of a movement among so many college students to find a cure once and for all.”
