Q: Is ALSAC/St. Jude the same as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital?
A: No. ALSAC is the fundraising organization of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. ALSAC exists solely to raise the funds necessary to operate and maintain St. Jude.

Q: What types of positions does ALSAC offer?
A: ALSAC has professional and support level positions, which are mainly for fundraising and marketing professionals. Additional positions include support staff such as Communications, Finance/Administration and Human Resources, as well as IT related positions. Internships are also available for college students. Q: How long does it take for someone to contact me about my submission for employment?
A:  Applicants who are deemed most qualified will be contacted for further consideration. You can view your status on positions for which you have applied by accessing your profile on the career center.  Your status for each individual position will be visible next to the position information. 

Q: How many jobs can I apply for at one time?
A: You can apply for as many positions as you are interested in and qualified for at any given time.

Q: Is an employment application required or will my resume be enough?
A: Your resume will be enough for consideration. An application will be required and requested should you be contacted for an interview.

Q: What is the status of the resume I submitted through the career center?
A: Resumes are reviewed by the recruitment team for qualifications and routed to hiring managers for consideration. Once all applicants have been reviewed, the hiring manager will contact those candidates they feel are most suited for the position. You will be able to view your status for any position for which you have applied by accessing your profile on the career center.

Q: Do I need to have the degree that the job posting states or will my experience make up for it?
A: The degree attainment is necessary to qualify for the position.  Experience is not substituted for a degree unless specifically stated as such in the description requirements section.

Q: What is the salary range for the position?
A: We do not release full ranges for our positions on the Web site. If you are contacted as a candidate for the position, the minimum for the range will be disclosed and a potential expected salary for the position may be released to you.
