St. Jude patients and their siblings between the ages of 10 and 14 recently enjoyed a night of dancing, fun and friendship during the inaugural St. Jude Spring Fling semi-formal dance on the hospital’s campus.
The Child Life Program hosted the dance, which celebrated the Mardi Gras season and featured festive food, music and a variety of dance moves as Child Life specialists joined the fun. Events like Spring Fling and the annual Teen Formal allow patients and families to experience life’s major events while away from home due to treatment.
