Cornerstone Brands began its partnership with St. Jude in October 2010, and launched its inaugural St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign just weeks later—November of the same year. This incredible feat in allocating resources and support in such a short time speaks volumes for Cornerstone Brands’ commitment to help save children's lives.
Cornerstone Brands implemented a simple and highly effective prorgam: During the holiday shopping season, Cornerstone Brands’ call center representatives asked customers if they would like to add a $1, $5, $10 or $25 donation to their purchase to benefit St. Jude. In addition, consumers had the opportunity to donate through the brand’s websites, including Frontgate®, Ballard Designs®, Garnet Hill®, The Territory Ahead®, TravelSmith®, Grandin Road®, Improvements® and Chasing Fireflies®, which joined the team for the 2012 St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.
Internally, Cornerstone Brands launched an employee donation campaign during the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign, giving associates the opportunity to personally show their support for the kids of St. Jude.
The families and staff of St. Jude continue to be amazed by the outpouring of support from new partners like Cornerstone Brands.
