All of the primary clinics are closed on weekends, holidays, and after 5 p.m. on weekdays. When patients need medical care during those times, staff members are ready to help. Medical care includes planned follow-up lab work and exams, or urgent care as needed.
If you arrive on a weekend or a holiday, 7:30 a.m.–10 p.m., or on a weekday after 5 p.m.:
If you arrive after 10 p.m. on a weekend, holiday, or weekday:
You will be greeted at the front desk by a security guard. The guard will then call the correct staff member to care for your child.
If your child might have an illness that can spread to others:
If you think your child might have been exposed to an illness that could spread to other patients, please call before coming to the hospital. Call 901-595-3300 and ask for the nursing coordinator. If you are outside the Memphis area, dial toll-free 1-866-2STJUDE (1-866-278-5833).
