Ambulatory Care Unit – Solid Tumor / Neuro-Oncology Rotation

    Mirroring the inpatient service, the resident will be responsible for medication therapy management services for ambulatory care patients being treated on the Solid Tumor and Neuro-oncology services as well as the radiation oncology service. The residents will be responsible for pharmacokinetic consults, coordination of home infusion therapy including parenteral nutrition, pain management, review of chemotherapy regimens and development of electronic order sets for patients not being treated on a clinical trial, drug information, patient education and medication reconciliation, as well as allergy and adverse drug reaction reporting.
