What I Want to Tell Leukemia
“What I Want to Tell Leukemia” began as an expressive activity started by a Child Life intern as a way to help patients to communicate their feelings about their diagnoses, their hospital experiences and the changes their diagnoses have caused in their daily lives. Patients and their families were encouraged to express their feelings on a wall.
While it is not intended to be a permanent display, the popularity of this particular project has caused it to remain a staple in the playroom.
