Sponsored by MillerCoors, the St. Jude Halloween Promotion began in 1992 when St. Jude regional offices introduced the “Cool Ghoul” Halloween pinup to local beer distributors. MillerCoors launched this unique fundraising promotion to the MillerCoors family network.
In the first year, more than 40 MillerCoors distributors nationwide participated in the program and raised $174,000. The year 2011 marked the 20th year of the campaign and set a record raising more than $7.2 million. Since its inception, the St. Jude Halloween Promotion has raised more than $59 million for St. Jude.
MillerCoors is recognized on the Corporate Partnerships display in the Patient Care Center lobby of the hospital for its efforts in supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
