St. Jude patients create holiday masterpieces

In time for the holidays, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients like Nora Pu donned chef hats and aprons to create decorations for a giant gingerbread house constructed in the hospital. About a dozen chefs from area restaurants turned out to helped patients craft lollipops to adorn the gingerbread house display. Activities such as these provide patients undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases a diversion from hospital appointments and treatment schedules.
