It was a glamorous evening of red carpet, limousines and stars - silver, gold and blue stars that provided the backdrop for St. Jude patients as they celebrated one of the most hallowed events of teen life: prom. Patients and their siblings, ages 13 to 24, were invited to the event, organized by the St. Jude Child Life department.
The festivities included a pre-prom “get-ready” party for girls to have their hair, makeup and nails done at Target House. Attendees were escorted to the dance in style—via stretch limousines—to make a red-carpet entrance. The evening included sparkling fruit juice in champagne flutes, live music from Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers and, of course, dancing under the stars with the hospital’s stars – St. Jude patients.
