On April 26, The Gymboree Corporation delighted the kids of St. Jude with an annual event tailored to provide good food and plenty of fun. The festivities were held at the Target House where the visiting guests from Gymboree treated patients and families like kings and queens. Everyone was invited to create personalized crowns to wear as they feasted upon delicious Memphis barbecue. Artists were on site for face painting activities, and after dinner some of the kids twirled around the cozy family area with brightly colored scarves to unwind from the excitement of the day. On April 27, the Gymboree guests were honored with a breakfast and special presentation at the hospital before afternoon tours of the hospital.

With nearly 900 retail stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada, The Gymboree Corporation specializes in clothing coordinates designed for children newborn to age 12. Gymboree has been a proud partner of St. Jude since 2006, participating every year in the Thanks and Giving® campaign. This year, 11 of Gymboree’s top fundraising employees were selected to enjoy the special two-day event to celebrate their achievements and let them experience firsthand how their dedication helps the hospital and the kids of St. Jude.
