|DNA Transcription Unit Vaccines that Protect Against Avian Influenza Viruses (SJ-97-0002)|
This invention relates to the gene gun delivery of a DNA protein that confers immune protection to chickens challenged with lethal viruses. A H5 hemmagglutinin DNA vaccine delivered by a gene gun was shown to be an effective method of immunizing chickens.
