The 55th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl scored big for the kids of St. Jude. Each year, players and coaches from both teams tour the campus of St. Jude and spread holiday cheer to patients and their families.

This year, the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Rice Owls visited the hospital. Players signed autographs for the patients and football fans as the excitement began to build in anticipation of the big game to come.

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl was played on December 31 at Memphis’s Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs beat the Rice Owls 44-7. St. Jude patient Ellen sang the national anthem.
