Jewelers For Children
The partnership between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the jewelry industry dates all the way back to 1995. Since its inception in 1999, Jewelers for Children (JFC) has helped to ensure that the critical research St. Jude conducts will continue. JFC endowed the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic at St. Jude in 1999, and since then almost 900 children have received bone marrow transplants. Additionally, JFC has funded the St. Jude Stem Cell Transplantation Laboratory, the St. Jude chair in Genetics and Gene Therapy, and immune system regeneration research. JFC is currently working to fulfill a $3.5 million commitment to Bone Marrow Transplantation and Research.
