Biostatistician

deqing.pei@stjude.org

I joined the department of biostatistics at St.Jude in 2001 after graduated from Iowa State University. I love working at St. Jude, which helps me to see a direct connection between my number-crunching career and the life-saving work at St. Jude. And it makes me feel so special and privileged to be involved in childhood cancer research to save more children. The major focus of my work has been in the area of acute lymphocytic leukemia, pathology and bioinformatics. I participate in the programming, analysis of data, graphical presentation of results and reporting of results with interpretations and explanations of statistical techniques used and valid inference.
