Trike-A-Thon features
During the Week of the Young Child April 13 – 19 , children around the country will help raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital simply by learning bicycle and tricycle safety. Find out how your preschool or daycare center can participate.
New this year to Trike-A-Thon is the kids’ band Hot Peas ’N Butter. The group has composed a song about riding safety entitled “Different Spokes for Different Folks.”
St. Jude is proud to partner with NOGGIN, the commercial-free, educational preschool TV network from Nickelodeon, in promoting the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon program which teaches children the concepts of bike and riding-toy safety.
On any given day about 4,700 children are patients at St. Jude. Also on any given day, about 287 other children across the country are helping them in their fight by riding tricycles, scooters or other riding toys.
