Be part of one of Houston’s greatest charity events, the 11th annual Evening of Hope Gala benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will take place at The Westin Galleria Hotel with Deborah Duncan of KHOU-TV Channel 11 presiding as Master of Ceremonies.
Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow Houstonians while bidding on many one-of-a-kind auction items during the silent and live auctions. The evening will include dinner, cocktails, a brief patient program and live entertainment provided by Walter Suhr and Mango Punch.
The event will honor the family of Stevens Mafrige Sr. for their generous support of St. Jude and the Evening of Hope event over the last decade: Carolyn and Steve Mafrige, Nancy and Don Mafrige, Chrissy and the late Ron Mafrige, Kathryn and Tom Kent, and other members of the extended Mafrige family who have supported St. Jude.
The first Lifetime of Service Award will be presented to Lois and Les Lewis for their inspiring commitment to the lifesaving work at St. Jude and for pioneering the start of the Houston Gala in 2001.
The Houston community has helped support the groundbreaking research and world-class patient care at St. Jude. Join us in the fight against childhood cancer by supporting St. Jude and its mission of finding cures and saving children.
