Lately, there have been a lot of tall men walking the halls of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Just this NBA season, the Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Hornets, Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns and the hometown Memphis Grizzlies visited St. Jude to see what an amazing place it is.
The players and coaches have toured the hospital, spoken with researchers and met patients and their families.
The NBA helps promote the hospital’s mission to millions of NBA fans. Together the league, players, coaches, teams, trainers and fans have raised more than $500,000 for St. Jude through this campaign over the past four years.
