Are you looking for a challenge? Do you enjoy running or walking? Do you want to help children battling catastrophic diseases?
Then join us in Memphis during the first weekend in December for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon, Half Marathon and the Memphis Grizzlies House 5K.
Both the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon and Marathon are sold out! But there is still space available in the Memphis Grizzlies House 5K and Family Race. Find out more.
As a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon, this annual sporting event brings together runners from across the country and around the world to compete and help save the lives of children stricken with cancer and other deadly diseases.
Register for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon, Half Marathon or Memphis Grizzlies House 5K
Runners and walkers will enjoy a relatively flat course with a few rolling hills that includes some of Memphis' oldest and prettiest neighborhoods. The starting line is located in downtown Memphis and participants will pass some of Memphis' most popular landmarks and attractions including Beale Street, Sun Studio (where Elvis first recorded) and the National Civil Rights Museum. Runners will experience a dynamic finish at AutoZone Park, home of the Redbirds, Memphis' AAA baseball team.
The race starts off with the two day St. Jude Memphis Marathon Expo on the Thursday and Friday prior to race weekend at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. The Expo will feature exhibitors with the latest athletic product information, as well as free samples. There will be great buys on running apparel and other name brand merchandise.

Hope. It begins with a single step as a St. Jude Hero. Join the St. Jude Heroes Team Challenge and form a fundraising team comprised of friends, family or co-workers as you vie to become the top fundraising or fastest team in town. Run or walk for those that can’t
—the patients of St. Jude—and make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Don’t have a Heroes team to join or form? Sign up to become a St. Jude Hero and raise funds as an individual. Each St. Jude Hero will receive:
* fundraising minimum required
Join the Heroes Team Challenge and your team will be in the running to win several awards while enjoying the competitive spirit of this event. We will award the fastest team, top corporate team and top overall fundraising team. The awards will be presented at the Heroes pasta party on Friday night and the fastest team will be awarded during the race awards. More information on how to qualify as the fastest team will be communicated through the Heroes monthly e-newsletters.
If you choose not to run or walk the races, you can still help. Volunteers are needed to distribute registration packets, to help supervise the runner check-in and assist in other race-day activities, such as the spirit stations.
At designated areas throughout the race course, spirit stations are set up to encourage runners and walkers through cheering, singing and other motivational activities. Civic organizations, church groups, bands and other groups are welcome.
This year's St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is poised to be bigger and better than ever. Don't miss out on your chance to participate or volunteer to benefit the children of St. Jude. Registration is limited, so act now! Register online today or visit www.stjudemarathon.org for more information.
