Domestic Affiliates
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has been described as "a hospital without walls." St. Jude's Domestic Affiliate Program's mission is to extend the protocol-structured treatment and research at St. Jude to children beyond St. Jude's physical walls through clinical, research and academic partnerships with pediatric programs.
The Domestic Affiliate Program is a network of pediatric hematology-oncology clinics, hospitals and universities united to extend the mission of St. Jude. These sites serve as a referral base to St. Jude for patients eligible for protocol-based care and as a site where some of that care can be administered. The physicians and staff at these sites work in collaboration with the staff of St. Jude to deliver protocol related care to pediatric hematology-oncology patients. They meet standards set by St. Jude and are subject to annual audits that confirm their on-going capability and commitment to quality care.
