Pamela Silve Conde
Co-Anchor, Primer Impacto

Six-time Emmy award-winning journalist Pamela Silva Conde is co-anchor of the Univision’s weekday newsmagazine Primer Impacto (First Impact), one of the highest-rated programs in the United States and in 12 Latin American countries.

Since she joined the show in 2011, she has covered major national and international news stories; most recently, she reported on every angle of the terrorist attack at the Boston marathon, live from Boston. As part of the Univision News team, prior to Primer Impacto, she was the national correspondent for Univision’s primetime newsmagazine Aquí y Ahora (Here and Now), with which she still collaborates. Previously, Silva Conde anchored the leading Spanish-language morning newscast in South Florida for the Univision Miami local affiliates.

Silva Conde joined the news team of Univision’s local Miami station as an entertainment anchor and reporter in 2005 and soon became a substitute news anchor. Prior to joining Univision 23, Silva Conde was the host of TeleFutura 69’s first local newscast, Noticias en Noventa (News in 90), a daily segment featuring late-breaking headlines in 90 seconds.  

A celebrated journalist, in 2006 Silva Conde won her first Emmy award for on-camera work, and in 2007 she received three additional Emmy awards in the writing, news feature and human interest story categories. Two more Emmys followed: in 2009, for a feature story on Facebook, and in 2010, for a news feature. In addition, she was recognized as Alumni of the Year by the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Florida International University.

She is currently a member of the board of directors of Amigos for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, and is a national volunteer and spokesperson for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Silva Conde graduated with honors from Florida International University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and subsequently went on to acquire a graduate certificate in Bilingual Communications from St. Thomas University. In 2012 she received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University.

She lives in Miami with her husband.

Pedro Andrande
Co-Anchor, The Morning Show, Fusion

Pedro Andrade is the co-anchor of The Morning Show on Fusion, a new cable network for multicultural millennials that will be launched on October 28, 2013.  Every morning at 7 a.m. ET/PT, Andrade will be sharing the screen with Mariana Atencio and Yannis Pappas.

Prior to joining Fusion, Andrade has worked on multiple television shows on NBC and anchored Manhattan Connection; a Brazilian- based television show that reaches more than 8.5 million viewers weekly and is one of the most respected shows in South America in terms of journalism and hard news. Besides Brazil, it is also aired nationally in five different countries as well as worldwide through cable.

Andrade was also the anchor of NBC’s national, weekly, luxury lifestyle program LX.TV 1st Look, which helped guide viewers through the newest and most exclusive destinations in food, nightlife, art, shopping, fashion, wellness and weekend escapes. Andrade was also the host of the reality show, On the Rocks: The Search for America’s Top Bartender on NBC and wrote and produced the show Pedro’s Diary, in which he chronicles his life in New York City. These shows did not just air on national television, but also on NYC cabs, trains, multiple airlines and hotel chains around the world.

Pedro has published a guide to New York City through ROCCO, one of the biggest publishing companies in Latin America, and is proud to announce a yearly collaboration with Brazil Foundation, the number one organization in terms of collecting funds abroad for major social causes in Brazil.

Pedro was listed on VH1’s Guide to the Hottest Men in Manhattan and was chosen as one of the “50 Most Beautiful - and promising - people in New York” for two consecutive years.  He also received an award for “Best Up and Coming TV Host” from the NY Press and is a proud ambassador for the Italian label GUCCI.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Andrade currently lives in Miami.
