With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital earn up to $500,000 in Kmart’s “What Would You Do with One Billion Points?” contest.
During the contest—which celebrates the first anniversary of Kmart’s Shop Your Way Rewards program allowing customers to earn points for each dollar spent—Kmart has asked its customers to make a 45-second video of themselves explaining what they would do with one billion points (equivalent to $1 million). Thousands entered for the chance to win the one billion points, which they will split with the charity of their choice, such as St. Jude.
From those thousands of entries, the top 20 videos will be selected on October 9 and the public will be asked to choose their favorite video.
Here’s how you can help St. Jude: Beginning October 9, simply visit www.sears.com/billionstjude and vote for top 20 finalist videos that support St. Jude. You can vote once a day until voting ends on November 3. A winner will be announced on November 14.
So go to www.sears.com/billionstjude and be part of helping St. Jude raise up to $500,000. Your votes will help St. Jude to continue its mission of finding cures and saving children.
Kmart, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears Holdings Corporation, became a partner with St. Jude during the 2006 Thanks and Giving® campaign and became the program’s highest fundraising partner in 2009, raising $6.9 million for St. Jude.
