Solid Tumor : adrenocortical carcinoma
Description
Researchers from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and institutions in different parts of the world are working together to learn more about adrenocortical tumors. This study is designed so researchers can collect more information about adrenocortical tumors. It may help them to understand the disease better and to develop better treatments for these rare tumors.
Objectives
- To learn the clinical features of children with adrenocortical tumors. These features include age, sex, type of tumor, size of the tumor, presence of metastatic disease (disease that has spread to other parts of the body), site(s) of the metastatic disease, length of time between signs and symptoms of the disease and when it was diagnosed, and any relapse and the type of relapse.
- To learn how children with adrenocortical tumors from different parts of the world are treated. This information may help researchers to learn better ways of treating children with these rare tumors.
Eligibility
- Age < 21 years old at diagnosis.
- Histological diagnosis of adrenocortical tumor (adenoma, carcinoma, or undefined histology).
