Danica McKellar from the television series "The Wonder Years" and "The West Wing" recently visited with patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. McKellar is the new national spokesperson for the ALSAC/St. Jude Math-A-Thon® fund-raising program. With a BA in mathematics and a recently published paper proving a mathematical theorem, she and the Math-A-Thon program add up to a perfect 10. As the national spokesperson, McKellar spreads the message that math is important and the Math-A-Thon is a fun and exciting way to do math and also help the kids at St. Jude.
