Are you interested in the child life profession? Do you think a child life career path sounds like a good fit for you, but you want learn more about it? Are you currently enrolled in college and studying the child life field but are looking for insight into how your study set is applied to daily real life situations? If you answered yes to any of these questions then this opportunity was created with you in mind.
You are invited to join us for Child Life 101 at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The St. Jude Child Life Program is offering a half-day educational session for current child life students, future child life students and prospective interns with a realistic view of the Child Life role in a hospital setting. This is intended to be a beginner’s level introductory class to the child life profession.

To participate, all attendants must have a minimum educational level of high school senior.
Please note that no professional credit hours will be provided from this session.
All participants must have completed registration and received confirmation of acceptance from our staff to attend Child Life 101.
Due to the compromised immune system of many of our patients, attendants of the optional hospital tour must be in good health meaning no exposure to any contagious diseases as well as fever free, no nasal drainage, or coughing for 24 hours prior. This will be a memorable day but for the privacy of our patients and families, please keep personal photographs to hospital structures only.
