Pathology
The Department of Pathology is committed to being an institutional leader in promoting the St. Jude mission of providing quality care to children with catastrophic illnesses. The department is dedicated to excellence in the delivery of clinical services, the advancement of biomedical research and diagnostics, and the promotion of education and professional opportunities. The Department of Pathology
- Delivers state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic laboratory services and provides a consultative resource for the institution and medical community.
- Develops and participates in basic, translational, and clinical investigative research to advance the understanding of disease processes and to facilitate the development of new technologies.
- Serves as an educational resource for students and healthcare professionals and creates an environment that encourages the professional development of employees and staff.
