Psychology Protocol-based Services

Protocol Assessment

Protocol-based psychological assessment is often conducted as part of therapeutic protocols. Tests selected for protocol assessment are the same for all patients who take part in the study, and they are selected to address a research question. Brief feedback is provided to families of patients who complete protocol-based psychological assessment, and clinical assessment is sometimes recommended if specific areas of weakness are identified. Some examples of therapeutic research protocols with a psychological assessment component are: RT2CR, SCDMR4, SJMB03, SJYC07, and TOTXVI.

Supportive Psychological Protocol Services

The Psychology Department also conducts a number of non-therapeutic, supportive protocols.
