International Visitors Program

The International Visitors Program (IVP) offers a unique learning experience at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to select pediatric hematology-oncology healthcare professionals from low- and middle-income countries. Since its inception in 1993, the IVP has provided opportunities for participants to observe the St. Jude model of holistic medicine, based on a multidisciplinary approach to caring for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Participants spend several weeks in targeted clinical areas, based on their profession and stated objectives. The program has accepted visitors from more than 80 countries since 2001.
