Non-Therapeutic Protocol
BMTFU: Protocol for Collecting Long-Term Follow-Up Data on Recipients of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant
Type of Protocol/Clinical Study
Associated Stem Cell Transplant Studies, Supportive Studies: Long Term Effects
Description
St. Jude patients who are at least one year from their hematopoietic stem cell transplantation will be asked to return to St. Jude once a year for a general check-up. During this visit the participant will be asked to answer a short set of questions and the doctor will do a complete physical exam.Blood and x-ray work will be done to screen for late effects related to hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). These exams and tests are normally done as routine patient care.
Objectives
- To provide continuing review of long-term outcomes and adverse events among hematopoietic stem cell recipients monitored by the bone marrow transplant annual follow-up clinic and tumor registry
Eligibility
- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patient actively monitored in the bone marrow transplant annual follow-up clinic after receiving hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplant for a malignant or non-malignant condition
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital alumnus monitored by the tumor registry after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for a malignant or non-malignant condition
- Patient has not been permanently discharged from care and follow-up
Only current St. Jude patients are eligible.
