BMTFU: Protocol for Collecting Long-Term Follow-Up Data on Recipients of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant

Description

St. Jude patients who are at least one year from their hematopoietic stem cell transplantation will be asked to return to St. Jude once a year for a general check-up. During this visit the participant will be asked to answer a short set of questions and the doctor will do a complete physical exam.Blood and x-ray work will be done to screen for late effects related to hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). These exams and tests are normally done as routine patient care.

Objectives

• To provide continuing review of long-term outcomes and adverse events among hematopoietic stem cell recipients monitored by the bone marrow transplant annual follow-up clinic and tumor registry

Eligibility

• St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patient actively monitored in the bone marrow transplant annual follow-up clinic after receiving hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplant for a malignant or non-malignant condition
• St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital alumnus monitored by the tumor registry after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for a malignant or non-malignant condition
• Patient has not been permanently discharged from care and follow-up

Only current St. Jude patients are eligible.
